The Perla Ballet School was formed to provide a unique, accelerated training opportunity for students who are seeking a rigorous dance-training experience in a half-day setting. It is a hybrid program where each student receives their education through outside sources such as public, virtual school and home school. Students are walked through a schedule of various classes that include ballet technique, pointe, variations, jazz, contemporary, repertoire, dance history, and stretch/conditioning; as well as, several master guest teachers throughout the year.
We emphasize performance and growth as an artist through giving back to the community through numerous performances at daycares, schools, nursing homes, and other events.
Our goal is to create an environment where the arts do not need to be sacrificed for academics, nor academics for the arts, but work together for anyone with the inspiration to pursue excellence in dance.
The School is separate from The Perla Ballet performing company for the full-length ballets and Regional Dance America festival. Contact The Perla Ballet for more information on company placement and bare in mind that being a part of the company includes rehearsals on Thursday evenings 6:00-9:00pm and Saturday afternoons 12:30-5:00pm

The parents of each student have the freedom to choose how they would like their child to accomplish their academics. Options include outside sources such as public and private virtual school and home school. In our day, there are numerous great options for children to get high quality education as they are also pursuing their arts education so that neither are sacrificed for the other.
